What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese Energy healing that supports your body's natural ability to heal itself. Reiki can help with insomnia, variety of physical and energy issues and improve many other aspects of health. It's stress reducing and supports overall balance and well-being. Reiki is not a form of physical massage and your therapist will largely work with a light gentle static touch or their hands may be just above your body with no actual touch and avoiding all sensitive body parts. During your session we may be using essential oils, crystals and sound for increased relaxation.

What is Lymphatic Drainage?

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, yet effective massage technique that helps to boost the body's immunity and reduce inflammation. It stimulates the lymphatic system and encourages the natural flow of lymph, which helps to rid the body of toxins and waste products. This therapy is incredibly relaxing and can help to reduce stress and fatigue.

What is PEMF Therapy?

PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-frequency electromagnetic fields to stimulate and promote healing in the body. It is believed to enhance cellular function and improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain.

How it works:

PEMF therapy delivers electromagnetic pulses to the body, which penetrate tissues and stimulate cellular activities. This can have several effects, including:

  1. Improved blood circulation, which leads to delivering more oxygen and nutrients to cells while removing waste products

  2. Cellular repair and regeneration of damaged tissues

  3. Pain reduction and reduction of inflammation, particularly in conditions like arthritis or musculoskeletal injuries

  4. Bone healing, eg. treatment of bone fractures, osteoporosis, and other bone-related conditions

  5. Injury recovery

  6. Improved sleep and general wellness, enhancing energy levels and mood

Treatment:

Sessions typically last from 25 to 60 minutes, and multiple sessions may be recommended depending on the condition being treated.

Safety:

PEMF therapy is generally considered safe. However, people with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other implanted electronic devices should consult with a healthcare provider before using PEMF therapy.
